At Bermuda Cares, our vision is to see a better world through stewardship. Our mission is to match needs with seeds, manifesting stewardship, one need at a time.
We believe nothing exists solely for itself, or solely for its own benefit. We believe everything that exists has a purpose, and such purpose adds value to the world. We believe the value added to the world is to meet the needs of those in the world.
We believe what we have, or own, are resources, given to meet our needs and the needs of others. We believe we are stewards of resources, not owners of possessions. We believe we are granted the privilege of meeting needs through the management of our resources.
Needs
We believe the human is spirit, soul and body and all needs seek to develop and sustain us in these areas. We believe there are many needs in the world, and regardless of who has the need, or what the needs is, the need must be met.
Resources
We believe there are sufficient resources to meet all needs. For every resource there is a corresponding need waiting to be met - this is the sole purpose the resource exists. When resources are not released to meet needs, they become possessions, interrupting the flow of provision in the world.
We believe wants are driven by individual pursuit of position, possessions and pleasure, and are rarely satisfied. Yet in our world, wants consume the most resources.Seeds
We believe, as humans, we have been created to give from one to many, and to receive from many to one. This is how the world is intended to operate.
It is certain you will not be ale to help everyone. It is also certain you can help someone.
